FORM's Third Annual Fashion Fair

Last week, students and employers gathered for FORM's third annual Fashion Fair, an exclusive retail industry networking event held on campus at Rutgers. Students and alumni were given the exciting opportunity to speak with representatives from companies including Saks Fifth Avenue, Kohl's, Aerie, Mens Wearhouse, and many more, along with student organizations like TRIM magazine. For the full details, read on!

On Wednesday, October 11, FORM presented our third annual Fashion Fair, featuring companies all throughout the fashion and retail industries to the one-and-only on-campus retail industry networking event at Rutgers.

Held in the Livingston Student Center, this year's three-hour company expo includded representatives from various sides of the fashion industry, including everything from professional men's clothing retailer Men's Wearhouse to lingerie and loungewear brand Aerie.

Representatives from Saks Fifth Avenue, PVH, Kohl's, H&M, Image Design, and more offered students incredible insight into internship openings, part-time jobs, company-specific advancement programs, and overall company and industry culture. Each company brought their own culture and character to the room, creating a mix of styles and opportunities for students to engage with.

In addition to major brands and top names in the fashion and retail industries, this year's Fashion Fair attracted representatives from related fashion-focused editorial groups and student organizations on campus such as TRIM magazine and CollegeFashionista. Students from all majors and schools across Rutgers were invited to attend, and refreshments were provided to amplify the comfortable, casual yet refined networking atmosphere.

Students said they enjoyed the smaller, closer feeling of the Fashion Fair compared to large-scale networking and recruitment fairs. The friendly, more intimate setting gave students more time to interact with companies and learn about all available opportunities, while also giving recruiters more one-on-one interaction with passionate students.

With companies from past years' fairs such as Aerie, Kohl's, and H&M, as well as new companies like Saks Fifth Avenue/HBC, this year's Fashion Fair was a success, and we're excited to keep growing and improve with each coming year!
